Kenya Power Emerged As Top Loser of the Day at the NSE

The top loser of the day was Kenya Power and Lighting Company with 8.24 percent at the price of 4.90 shillings per share.

Unga Group and Sameer Africa were second and third top losers of the day with 3.85 and 3.81 percent at the price of 37.50 and 2.02 shillings per share respectively.

National Bank and Eveready East Africa lost 3.27 and 2.61 percent at the price of 5.32 and 1.12 shillings per share respectively.

East African Cables was the top gainer of the day with 10.00 percent at the price of 2.75 shillings per share followed by Car and General (K) who gained 9.91 percent at the price of 25.50 shillings per share.

BOC Kenya, HF Group and WPP ScanGroup gained 9.76, 8.31 and 4.65 percent at the price of 81.50, 6.78 and 13.50 shillings per share respectively.

Safaricom remained top mover of the day for the third day running this week after selling 12.47 million shares during the session.

Equity Group, Kenya Electricity Generating Company and Co-operative Bank of Kenya sold 5.71, 2.33 and 2.17 million shares respectively while Kenya Commercial Bank sold 1.41 million shares
