Kenyans from all walks of life got a golden opportunity to witness the premiere of the much-awaited Coke Studio Africa 2019.

Kicking off in the month and week of love, Coke Studio Africa 2019 is the biggest music production that will see amazing talents both within and without Kenya being displayed.

The night of the launch started off with photo sessions taken on the red carpet together with virtually everyone being treated as a VIP. Music and talent had come together and made everyone present at the launch “together as one”.

Everyone seemed proud of the African culture and it was evident that by just being African, respect was commanded.

Who attended?

The Who is Who in the entertainment industry was at this event with most of them being part of the show. Talk of Khaligraph Jones, Mr. Eazi, Naiboi, Nandy, Young Imani, Nazizi, Nadia among others. With these talents around, who would fail to “feel important”? Nobody. Right?

The MCs for the night were Amina and Maqbul who made it even more fun and interactive. This was a chance for those who had attended the event to not only celebrate the milestone that Coca Cola Africa has achieved in supporting African Music but also interact and socialize.

The main key highlight for the night was Nigeria’s artiste Skales, and Tanzania’s Nandy’s performance which was on another level and also Naiboi’s acoustic version of his song 2in1 was one to die for.

Promise from Coke Studio

Coke Studio Africa 2019 audience has been promised an interesting twist of themes and musical fusions from the show which has always been at the forefront of producing quality music while at the same time granting various artists across the continent mega exposure, and opportunities to collaborate among each other. They also get to work with some of the best local and international professionals in the music world.

The show is a non-competitive music collaboration show which seeks to bring together and celebrate the diversity of African music and talent.

As artists interact and produce music documented by the show’s producers, they also get to learn about each other’s music and styles while exchanging cultures.
