Here are the Top Gainers, Losers and Movers of the Day at the NSE

The top gainer of the day was Sanlam Kenya who gained 10.00 percent at the price of 25.85 shillings per share followed by East African Cables with 7.14 percent at the price of 3.00 shillings per share.

Mumias Sugar Company and Liberty Kenya gained 6.90 and 6.19 percent at the price of 0.62 and 12.00 shillings per share respectively while Home Africa gained 6.15 percent at the price of 0.69 shillings per share.

Car and General (K) was the top loser of the day with 9.80 percent at the price of 23.00 shillings per share. British American Tobacco, on the other hand, lost 6.25 at the price of 600.00 shillings per share.

Sasini Tea, Uchumi Supermarket and Co-operative Bank lost 5.00, 3.53 and 3.49 percent at the price of 19.00, 0.82 and 15.20 shillings per share respectively.

Safaricom kicked off the week as the top mover of the day after selling 10.61 million shares followed by Kenya Commercial Bank who sold 3.93 million shares.

Equity Bank sold 2.50 million shares while Kenya Power and Lighting Company and NIC Bank sold 352,900 and 254,900 shares respectively.
