Tuesday: Safaricom Emerges As Top Mover of the Day at The NSE

Safaricom was the top mover on Tuesday after selling 19.00 million shares followed by Kenya Re-Insurance with 5.03 million shares.

Kenya Commercial Bank, Equity Group and Barclays Bank sold 2.50, 2.39 and 2.12 million shares respectively.

I & M Holdings and Umeme were the top gainers of the day with 10.00 percent each at the price of 99.00 and 6.60 shillings per share respectively.

Britam Holdings, Bamburi Cement and Mumias Sugar Company gained 9.21, 8.59 and 7.69 percent at the price of 9.96, 139.00 and 0.56 shillings per share respectively.

The top loser of the day was Kenya Re-Insurance with 9.42 percent at the price of 12.50 shillings per share followed by Eaagads with a loss of 5.66 percent at the price of 15.00 shillings per share.

Diamond Trust Bank, BAT Kenya and Stanbic Holdings lost 5.07, 4.12 and 3.55 percent at the price of 131.00, 535.00 and 95.00 shillings per share respectively.
