Express was the top gainer of the day with 10.00 percent at the price of 6.60 shillings per share followed by Equity Group with 7.80 percent at the price of 42.85 shillings per share.
Trans-Century gained 6.29 percent at the price of 3.55 shillings per share while Sameer Africa and Longhorn Publishers gained 5.00 and 3.96 percent at the price of 2.10 and 6.30 shillings per share.
Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE) was the top loser of the day with 8.09 percent at the price of 12.50 shillings per share followed by East African Cables with 7.69 percent at the price of 2.40 shillings per share.
Co-operative Bank, HF Group and Bamburi Cement lost 7.01, 6.98 and 6.71 percent at the price of 12.60, 4.00 and 118.25 shillings per share respectively.
Bankers dominated the top movers’ table on Tuesday led by Equity Group who sold 7.80 million shares followed by Kenya Commercial Bank who sold 3.48 million shares.
Safaricom and Co-operative Bank sold 2.69 and 2.47 million shares respectively while Barclays Bank of Kenya sold 1.86 million shares.
