How Telkom Kenya’s New Omniconnect Is Set To Shift Voice Service for Enterprises

In April, Telkom Kenya announced the role out of cloud-based fixed voice service named Omniconnect, set to enhance the enterprise landscape in Kenya.

The new service allows small medium enterprises (SMEs) and corporates to outsource for secure and innovative technologies to help advance and grow both their service and product delivery.

Enterprise customers who will subscribe to the service will be able to make and receive phone calls that will include among other things conference calls as well as the ability to integrate with email and mobile phones.

With this product from Telkom, enterprises will have no need for setting up and maintaining a fixed telephone line. This will help in cutting the costs used for such services. With the product, businesses can also choose not to host telephone systems on their facilities.

What is more, this product is competitively priced and recognizes the aspect of on/off-net rates. It is also billed per second and gives a business a substantial saving in terms of costs.
