Passion Fruits Retail High Countrywide Averaging Over Ksh.5000 per 57Kgs

Passion Fruits have recorded the highest average market price of 5,212 shillings for a 57Kg bag. The highest market prices are in both Nairobi and Mombasa, each with a wholesale price of 6,500 shillings.

Kisumu has the lowest price for a 57Kg bag of passion fruits with a market price of 3,000 shillings, followed by Eldoret at 4,500 shillings and Nakuru at 5,500 shillings.

Meanwhile, a 90 Kg bag of Avocado is retailing at an average market price of 3,060 shillings across the country with Mombasa recording the highest market price of 4,000 shillings.

Kisumu has recorded the lowest market price where the same 90Kg bag of avocado is selling at 1,800 shillings.

The wholesale market price for a 14Kg bag of Ripe Bananas is averaging at 590 shillings across the country with the lowest prices being recorded in Kisumu at the market price of 300 shillings. Nakuru has the highest market price of 750 shillings, followed by Eldoret at 700 shillings, Nairobi at 650 shillings and Mombasa at 550 shillings.

A 93Kg bag of Oranges has a wholesale price 6,000 shillings in Nakuru, 4,000 shillings in Kisumu, 3,800 shillings in Eldoret, 3,000 shillings in Nairobi and 2,800 shillings in Mombasa.

Lemons are averaging at 2,463 shillings for a 95Kg bag and for the same quantity in Nairobi, the market price is 2,850 shillings while that of Mombasa stands at 2,600 shillings, Nakuru 2,700 shillings, and Kisumu at 1,700 shillings.

Pineapples are being sold averagely at 912 shillings for a 13Kg bag across the country with Nakuru having the lowest market price of 600 shillings against the country’s highest market price in Eldoret at 1,170 shillings
