If you think that you are rich, then how can you compare with the Waltons family, the World richest family?

The Waltons is the world richest clan based in Arkansas,USA. Their wealth is generated from their family business,Walmart Incorporation.

Just in a day,the Waltons accumulate 100 million US dollars, which is estimated at 70,000 US dollars per minute and 4 million dollars per hour.

While you are reading this and still getting surprised by the numbers, the family is earning. Let us assume that you have read this article for three minutes, the Waltons have already garnered 0.21 million Dollars for that time.

Bloomberg had ranked the Waltons family as the richest back in June 2018,and ever since, their fortune started to escalate rapidly. From 39 billion dollars after topping the rankings to 191 billion dollars in 2019,the Waltons are gaining more and more.

The Waltons family business,Walmart,is the world’s largest retailer by revenue. It makes about 514 billion dollars in sales and has more than 11,000 stores globally.

The Waltons are not alone,as they are followed by the renown candy makers,The Mars family.M&Ms,Milky way and Mars bars could be the reasons for the Mars’ wealth, though pet-care products make up about half of the company’s more than 35 billion dollars in revenue.

Mars family’s fortune swelled from 37 billion dollars to 125 billion dollars after Bloomberg ranked them the World’s second richest family in June last year. The Koch’s family, ranked as the third richest family in the world by Bloomberg back in 2018, tacked on from 26 billion dollars to 125 billion in 2019.

American families had grabbed the top three spots but Al Saud,a royal family from Saudi Arabia broke the monotony. The house of Saud is worth 100 billion dollars accumulated from oil mines.

About 1.4 trillion of wealth is controlled by the top 25 richest families worldwide. America’s richest 0.1 percent today control more wealth than at any time since 1929,but Asians and Europeans are not left out too.

Coming up with a list of the top richest family is not always an exact science. Some families have most of their wealth and assets in diffuse states. This makes it tough to value their exact net-worth.

According to Bloomberg, Dynasties whose wealth and assets cannot be verified are always left out of the rankings of the world’s top richest families. First-generation fortunes and those controlled by single heir are also excluded.
