Scores Dead in Naivasha’s Nairobi-Nakuru Mid-Morning Accident

A fatal accident has occurred today (Monday) mid-morning along the Naivasha –Nairobi highway resulting in a number of casualties that is yet to be released.

The accident occurred between the toll station and the Delamare stopover a few minutes past noon on the 9th of September 2019.

The road accident termed by witnesses as tragic and fatal involved an NNUS shuttle and a bus a few meters from Malewa river on the Naivasha – Nairobi highway.

The NNUS Nissan matatu was thoroughly damaged as some of the passengers were spewed out of the vehicle in the time of the accident.

Traffic has built on the Naivasha-Nairobi highway following the fatal accident.

Update

The number of deaths confirmed to be 3 and 10 others seriously injured.
