10 Jobs That Will Not Be Replaced By Tech Automation

Technology is sweeping across the world. Most people are worried about the rate at which jobs are being replaced by automation.

Experts say not all jobs will be replaced by automation. They say people who will embrace the use of technology in most areas will be better placed on the job market now and in the future than those with little or no technological know-how.

“Teachers will not be replaced by tech automation. However, teachers who do not use tech will be replaced by those who do,” said Mr. Francis Waithaka, a Digital Marketing Specialist and CEO of Digital4Africa.

According to Mr. Waithaka, the following jobs will not be replaced by tech automation:

1. Teachers
2. Artists
3. Doctors
4. Nurses
5. Therapists
6. Singers
7. Musicians
8. Caregivers
9. Hairdressers
10. Farmers

In all the jobs listed above, however, technology will play a key role in ensuring the success of the professionals. Most professionals without technological know-how will be replaced by those who have embraced technology in various fields.

In the world of medicine, technology is already being used in most countries in diagnosis, drug distribution, and general health analysis, but the final decision of prescription and treatment lies with the doctor.

There are other jobs that are already being disrupted by technology. In Kenya, for instance, commercial banks are replacing bank tellers with mobile apps.

Most banks have moved such services as depositing cash, checking account balance, withdrawing cash from the account, paying for products and services to mobile platforms.

According to tech experts, marketers will completely be replaced with technology, especially social media in a few years to come. Already, companies around the world have replaced marketers with social media tools such as Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
