Bernard Ngugi Takes Over as New Kenya Power CEO From Engineer Jared Otieno

Bernard Ngugi has been appointed as the new Kenya Power CEO, taking over from the acting MD Jared Otieno.

Ngugi who is an accountant by profession has been the General Manager of Supply Chain at Kenya Power and before that, the Chief Accountant at the Treasury Section.

Jared Otieno was appointed as the acting CEO in 2018 by Energy CS Charles Keter after the then CEO, Ken Tarus was charged with corruption.
