We live in a dynamic world, where most people are learned, there are more innovations and life is quickly changing, more so as technology takes over the world.

The same is felt even in the Education sector. Where millions of students and professionals are embracing online education as opposed to facing traditional classes.

While online learning may not replace face to face classes, it comes in handy for people whose schedules cannot work well with physical face to face class.

One thing is clear. Unlike in the past where any other form of learning aside from the physical class and physical presence of the teacher was not taken seriously, e-learning has continually improved its reputation, hence fueling its expansion.

You may have been toying with the idea of signing up for an online course but you are worried because you do not have a lot of experience or perhaps you don’t really know where to get started.

Below is a list of sites that offer online courses, which, apart from giving you a variety of programs are convenient, flexible and cost fairly less among many other advantages of e-learning.

Udemy

This is one of the world’s largest online learning platforms which offers more than 100,000 courses and has about 24 million students.

Udemy has up to 50,000 top instructors from top schools in the world. The site mixes the customizable platform of other sites with a heavy emphasis on top quality content.

Coursera

Cousera.org is one of the world’s leading providers of massive open online courses. It was founded by two Stanford professors, whose aim was to bring a wide variety of topics to one searchable database.

While it is an online site, the course gives you the feeling of a structured classroom environment. Some of Coursera courses offer certificates on completion of the course.

However, unlike in other sites where the online institutions have partnered with many other schools, Stanford online will offer limited but quality topics.
