Football Managers are the masterminds behind the success of most football clubs in the world and national teams.

A football club may have the best players in the world, but when the management is poor, the club is likely to achieve nothing by the end of a game or a key tournament.

The world has seen some of the best managers for quite some time now; those who have done nothing but surprise the world by the number of achievements and how they have conquered major football leagues.

Here are the top ten most successful football managers in the world;

  1. Sir Alex Ferguson (June 1974-May 2013)

The Scottish international is undoubtedly the best football manager the world has ever seen. His key achievements came mostly during his 26 years at Manchester United.

During his tenure at Manchester United, Sir Alex Ferguson helped the Red Devils win 895 games and draw 338 games out of 1500 matches.

Sir Alex Ferguson won 38 domestic and international trophies,13 English Premier League titles,2 UEFA Champions League title,5 FA Cup title, 10 FA Community Shield and 4 League Cups.

Sir Alex Ferguson received the EPL manager of the Month for a record 27 times and Manager of the season 11 times.

  1. Carlo Ancelotti (July 1995-September 2017)

Carlo Ancelotti began his football managerial career in July 1995, but his key achievements came during his time at Italian Side AC Milan.

Ancelotti managed several European clubs like Real Madrid, Chelsea, Bayern Munich, Juventus, and Paris Saint Germain where he gained most of his success.
