A Step By Step Guide On How To Get Safaricom’s No Expiry Voice Calls

Safaricom is now For You. The giant telecommunications company changed its tagline to Simple, Transparent and Honest in the way they will be offering products and services to customers going forward.

Among the new services that Safaricom set in motion under the new tagline are the introduction of both data bundles, voice calls and SMSs that have no expiry date attached to them.

A lot has been said about data bundles with no expiry but today we want to unpack the voice data with no expiry.

On your phone, dial *544# as shown.

You will be directed to a page as shown in the image below.

Choose option 2 for Calls & SMS (NO EXPIRY DATE)

You will be directed to where you will need to make a choice on the number you want to purchase calls and SMS for as shown.

Choose option 1 for Buy for My Number

Enter the amount you wish to use, say 100 shillings.

Choose the mode of payment, say Airtime.

You will receive a message confirming your purchase.

What is more? For every airtime you purchase through this mode, Safaricom gives you 50 percent more.

For instance, if you purchase airtime worth 100 shillings, you get 150 shillings as your final airtime.

About 50 Percent Extra Airtime For Calls and SME

According to Safaricom, this is a service that gives customers a bonus airtime of 50 percent of the amount they use specifically for making calls and sending SMS.

The service can be accessed as shown in the steps above by dialing *544#, selecting option 2 and inputting the amount one wishes to use.
