Flame Tree Group Records Biggest Loss at the NSE on Wednesday

Flame Tree Group on Wednesday, 15^th January 2020, was the biggest loser at NSE after carrying the day on Tuesday, as the biggest gainer.

The manufacturing company had the biggest loss on its share price, from 2.11 shillings on Tuesday, to 1.93 shillings on Wednesday.

Flame Tree Group sold 1,400 shares on Wednesday and recorded a turnover of 2,708.

Stanbic Holdings registered the second biggest loss at the NSE on Wednesday on its share price, after recording a 4.32 percent loss from 110 shillings to 105.25 shillings on Tuesday.

KCB Group followed Stanbic, registering a 4.19 percent loss on its share price, from 53.75 shillings to 51.50 shillings.

KCB also moved down two positions in the top movers’ category, to position three after Safaricom and Equity Group, having sold 2.65 million shares on Wednesday as opposed to 6.66 million shares on Tuesday.

BAT Kenya and Uchumi were the fourth and fifth biggest losers at the NSE after their share prices fell by 3.93 and 3.70 percent respectively.

Safaricom reclaimed its position as the top mover after closing the day having sold 8.75 million shares, from 5.84 million shares on Tuesday.

The telco closed the day selling its shares at 32 shillings which was a 2.29 percent drop from Tuesday’s price of 32.75 shillings.
