One of the most requested features in WhatsApp over the last couple of years has been dark mode. WhatsApp dark mode feature helps one to reduce the strain on the eyes after long-time exposure to the screen.
That’s why we have seen a number of people adapting to the idea of downloading different types of WhatsApp aside from the ordinary one just to gain access to a dark theme and a lot more.
One can now enable a WhatsApp dark mode on their phone, manually.
Step1. Open WhatsApp from the home screen.
Step2. Tap the Action Overflow menu (three vertical dots in the top right corner)
Step3. Hit Settings.
Step4. Select chats.
Step5. Choose themes.
Step6. While in the choose themes dialog box, select dark.
Step7. You should be able to see the interface switch from the light or white theme to a DARK THEME.
This dark mode looks particularly good because it’s easier on the eyes and gives a better visual consistency leave alone this light mode that needs your to shrink your eyes as you scroll.
However, do note that this setting is only available in the better WhatsApp versions as for now, and it may take some more time to roll out to the public WhatsApp channel. So if you don’t see the option for dark theme just yet, relax? It’s coming.
