U.S. Government to Impose Travel Restrictions for 7 New Countries

The United States government under Donald Trump is planning on adding seven new countries to its list of countries that are restricted from travelling to the US.

Trump’s administration, in a bid to control and prevent potential acts of terrorism, banned several countries from entering the US in 2017.

Now, Trumps administration is planning on adding another seven countries to list, bringing the total to 14 countries.

Among the new countries that the US is planning on restricting are Nigeria, Tanzania, Sudan, Belarus, Eritrea, Kyrgyzstan and Myanmar.

The travel restrictions will affect citizens of the above mentioned countries who are planning on travelling to the US and applying for the green card program.

Currently, this is the list of countries restricted by the US since 2017:

  1. Iran
  2. Libya
  3. North Korea
  4. Somalia
  5. Syria
  6. Venezuela
  7. Yemen
