13 Pupils Dead After A Deadly Stampede At Kakamega Primary School

13 pupils have died and more than 100 seriously injured following a stampede at Kakamega Primary, in Kakamega County.
According to reports, a stampede occured when a teacher beat up one of the pupils leading to a stampede at around 5 pm, Monday 3rd, 2020.
Other reports indicate that students stormed out of their classrooms after a bell signifying the end of classes was sounded.

Kakamega OCPD David Kabena has confirmed the incident but said it is not clear at what happened leading to the stampede.
