It all started as a simple comment, a simple cry of help for anyone who would care read her tweet to help her get new school uniforms for her two kids. At the start, nobody would have noticed Lucy Gatimu’s tweet was it not for a reply that has been described as “harsh” from one Twitter bully.

For those who do not know Lucy Gatimu, this is a young lady who has been making a living by posting laundry business on Twitter. She does not own a laundromat but does laundry for people at their houses. Call her Mama wa Kufua but one who is digital.

After being bashed by the Twitter bully, Lucy Gatimu maintained her cool, remained humble and even apologized. Reading through her tweets will bring tears to your eyes on how mature and humble she handled the Twitter bully by the name Osama Otero.

Her humbleness and the harassment from Otero must have touched the hearts of many Kenyans who have now come together from all walks of life to help her out.
