Kenya Now Has 42 Confirmed Cases Of Coronavirus, 31 Cases In Nairobi

Kenya now has a total of 42 confirmed cases of coronavirus after four more people have tested positive in the last 24 hours.

The four who have tested positive are among 69 whose samples have been taken within the last 24 hours.

The four who have tested positive for coronavirus have brought the number to 42 and include one Kenyan and three foreigners.

The four who have tested positive for coronavirus also include three from Nairobi and one in Mombasa.

Nairobi continues leading in the number of cases that have tested positive for coronavirus currently at 31 while Kilifi follows with six cases, Mombasa now has three cases while Kwale and Kajiado have 1 case respectively.

The 42 cases that confirmed positive in Kenya since the coronavirus outbreak are 24 males and 18 Females.

There are currently 18 people waiting for their test results as mass testing begins on Kenyans who were allowed back into the country.

“We are importing ventilators from the World and are glad to mention that the World Bank has donated 2500 ventilators,” CS Mutahi Kagwe.

“We have a capacity for 1000 ICU beds and continue to build capacity and if indeed we run short, it will not be because we did not give it our very best,” Health CS Mutahi Kagwe.

“We urge Kenyans to work with the government in combating coronavirus and call out those who are using this killer disease to gain mileage,” Health CS.
