Ethiopia Declares State Of Emergency Over Covid-19

Ethiopia has declared a state of emergency in efforts to stop the spread of the deadly Coronavirus. This means no Ethiopian will be allowed to leave their houses during this time.
Ethiopia, by Wednesday morning, had a total of 52 confirmed cases of Covid-19 and two deaths. Prime Minister Aby Ahmed announced the state of emergency to curb the spread of the virus across the country that has more than 100 million people.
This also means that nobody will be allowed to enter Ethiopia or leave by any means for the period that the emergency will last. Ethiopia has been instrumental in distributing kits donated by billionaire Jack Ma to other African countries.
