Jubilee Expels 5 Senators For Refusing To Attend Uhuru’s Meeting

If what Bungoma County Senator Moses Masika Wetangula said is something to go by, things in the ruling party Jubilee are now messy, noisy with notable casualties.

A day after a controversial meeting at Statehouse that saw the then Leader of the Majority in the Senate Kipchumba Murkomen ejected and his place taken by Samuel Poghisio, Jubilee has unleashed another punishment.

5 nominated Senators who failed to attend the meeting convened by President Uhuru Kenyatta at Statehouse will be expelled from the party according to a statement by the party’s Secretary General Raphael Tuju.

The Senators who to be expelled are:

Falhada Decow Iman

Naomi Jilo Wago

Victor Prengei

Mary Seneta Yiane

Millicent Omanga

The five have also been ordered to appear befor the party’s governing body to explain why they failed to attend the meeting without sending prior notice.
