Home Africa Finishes As Top Gainer On Tuesday At Ksh 0.48 Per Share

The top gainer of the day on Tuesday was Home Afrika with 9.09 percent at the price of 0.48 shillings per share followed by Bamburi Cement with 7.31 percent at the price of 27.90 shillings per share.

ABSA Bank Kenya gained 3.77 percent at the price of 9.36 shillings per share followed by Stanbic Holding with a gain of 3.75 percent at the price of 83.00 shillings per share.

BK Group closed the top five gainers’ table on Tuesday with 3.29 percent at the price of 17.25 shillings per share.

Sanlam Kenya was the top loser of the day on Tuesday. The company lost 7.14 percent at the price of 13.00 shillings per share followed by Trans-Century who lost 4.69 percent at the price of 1.83 shillings per share.

Standard Group was the third top loser with 4.35 percent at the price of 22.00 shillings per share followed by Total Kenya with a loss of 4.18 percent at the price of 22.90 shillings per share.

Britam Holdings closed the top five losers of the day on Tuesday with 4.12 percent at the price of 6.52 shillings per share.

Safaricom has remained as the top mover since last week. On Tuesday, the giant telecommunications company moved 3.03 million shares at a market capitalization of 1.13 trillion shillings.

I & M Holdings sold 1.92 million shares at a market capitalization of 36.79 billion shillings followed by KCB Group who sold 1.91 million shares at a market capitalization of 112.14 billion shillings.

The struggling Kenya Power and Lighting Company moved 1.18 million shares at a market capitalization of 3.77 billion shillings While Equity Group sold 1.14 million shares at a market capitalization of 123.02 billion shillings.
