WPP ScanGroup Loses The Most At The NSE On Wednesday

WPP ScanGroup was the largest loser at the Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE) on Wednesday. The company lost 43.77 percent at the price of 11.05 shillings per share.

The second top loser was Longhorn Publishers with 8.16 percent at the price of 4.50 shillings per share followed by Trans-Century with a loss of 7.65 percent at the price of 1.69 shillings per share.

Umeme lost 7.52 percent at the price of 7.38 shillings per share while Bamburi Cement closed the table of the top five losers with 5.56 percent at the price of 26.35 shillings per share.

I & M Holdings emerged as the top gainer of the day on Wednesday with 10.00 percent at the price of 48.95 shillings per share followed by BK Group with 4.35 percent at the price of 18.00 shillings per share.

Total Kenya gained 2.84 percent at the price of 23.55 shillings per share followed by HF Group with a gain of 2.67 percent at the price of 3.85 shillings per share.

Britam Holdings closed the table of the top five gainers on Wednesday with 2.45 percent at the price of 6.68 shillings per share.

Safaricom PLC is still the king on the top movers’ table. On Wednesday, the giant moved 2.25 million shares at a market capitalization of 1.13 trillion shillings.

Equity Group old 1.58 million shares at a market capitalization of 123.21 billion shillings. Kenya Electricity Generating Company sold 869,100 shares with a market capitalization of 39.17 billion shillings.

The East African Breweries sold 613,800 shares at a market capitalization of 127.12 billion shillings while Kenya Power and Lighting Company sold 597,200 shares with a market capitalization of 3.82 billion shillings.
