BY Soko Directory Team · October 17, 2020 10:10 pm

It is not easy to believe that there is a Kaduda that can perform the same functions as that smartphone of yours. A Kaduda? Performing some functions as a smartphone? How is that even possible? I know you will say “No way” as you shake your head and move along.

I know a good number of you are millennials, born when smartphones were the order of the day. I also know that for the majority of you reading this, your first ever phone was a smartphone.

I also know that a good number of you have never gone through the stress of pressing buttons on a small phone with sometimes multiplying numbers because of our large fingers compared to the small buttons.

Most mlika mwizi’s as some you call them often have four purposes to serve; make calls, receive calls, send SMSs (rarely), and used as a torch, especially when there is a blackout.

But have you come across a Kaduda that has almost all features such as coming preloaded with WhatsApp, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Google Maps, KaiOS App Store, and Google Assistant Voice Contro? No? Now, sit down and let me tell you, dear friend.

Telkom Kaduda T-Smart

Call it the Telkom Kaduda T-Smart 4G that is now exciting the market with some amazing features despite it being “small.”

The phone, going for 3,100 shillings and available countrywide in all Telkom shops, comes with a dual sim feature; SIM 1 supports 4G with VoLTE support while SIM 2 supports 2G only.

It has a 2.4-inch color display running on KaiOS Operating System with a 0.3 MP on both front and rear cameras. (Do not focus more on the camera because it would be hypocrisy for you to tell me that you will be buying a Kaduda for taking photos.)

The phone comes with a 1900mAh battery that charges faster and stores power for longer. (Those with knowledge of using Kaduda know how such a phone, whichever the model often retain power for long.)

One amazing feature of this phone is that it comes with Mi-Fi support. I mean, you can use this phone to create a WiFi Hotspot of up to 8 users. What this means is that you actually purchase your Giga Bundles from Telkom at 1000 shillings for 30GB of data for 30 days and use this phone as your Mi-Fi. Amazing. Right?

The phone also has a wireless FM radio and supports a MicroSD Slot of up to 32 GB. Of course, this phone would not be complete without a torch.

Here is a summary of the features:
