The Kenya Meteorological Department has told Kenyans from various parts of the country to expect heavy rainfall that will be accompanied by strong winds starting this Friday, January 22, 2021.
The heavy rainfall according to Kenya Met is expected in Western Kenya, Central, Southeastern, and Northeastern parts of the country. The heavy rainfall is expected to run through Saturday over the highlands of the west of Rift Valley.

The counties that should expect heavy rainfall include; Migori, Homa Bay, Siaya, Kisumu, Kisii, Nyamira, Kericho, Bomet, Narok, Kiambu, Nyandarua, Nyeri, Murang’a, Embu, Meru, Kirinyaga, Tharaka Nithi, Kitui, Machakos, Makueni, Tana River among others.
