Jubilee Party Has Expelled 6 Nominated Senators

A war is simmering within the ruling Jubilee Party after its National Executive Council expelled six nominated senators over “gross misconduct.”

In a letter signed by the party’s secretary-general Raphael Tuju, the Senators are said to have gone against the ideals of the party by supporting other ideologies and another party.

All the six nominated Senators are affiliated with Deputy President William Ruto who has announced his ambition to occupy the House on the Hill after falling out with President Uhuru Kenyatta.

The Senators who have been shown the door are Isaac Mwaura, Mary Yiane, Millicent Omanga, Wago Naomi Jilo, Prengei Victor, and Iman Falhada Dekow.

“The expulsions are with immediate effect and have been communicated to the Senate and Registrar of Political Parties,” said Mr. Tuju.

The Jubilee Party started falling apart when Deputy President William Ruto was said to have tried to “outsmart his master” President Uhuru Kenyatta.

Uhuru Kenyatta “shook hands” with former Prime Minister Raila Odinga which led to the birth of the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) which Ruto and his brigade are against.

Matters became worse when Uhuru Kenyatta said that he owes no one when it comes to the “proverbial political debt” during his four-day meeting with the GEMA community in Sagana.

There have been rumors of plans to impeach Deputy President William Ruto, a move that is being spearheaded by Lugari MP Mr. Ayub Savula. According to Savula, at least 226 MPs have appended their signatures to oust William Ruto.

The Jubilee Party, however, through Raphael Tuju, has disputed claims that there are plans to impeach Ruto. ODM has also dismissed the claims that its members are beyond the push.

As it stands now, the season of words is officially on. Big words. Small words. Fat words. Thin words. Tall words. Short words. It is a season of words.
