He was supposed to be the new Kaka, he was supposed to be the brazil playmaker but since 2017 Oscar has been considered as a flop or as off in his footballing career. The former Chelsea teenager.

Touch, perfect passes, vision, Oscar had all the tips to become the best in the world. In 2012 at only 19 years Oscar was bought by Chelsea for 37 Million dollars.

For his start in the Champions League against Juventus, he scored a brace. Oscar won the Europa League with Chelsea in 2013 in his first season in Europe. The world predicted an incredible career ahead of him but was wrong total wrong. His performances were inconsistent despite a positive start.

He did not reach the level the Blues expected him to do. With his national team, he experienced more disappointments scoring the only goal for Brazil In a humiliating 7-1 against the Germans in the 2014 World cup.

After 5 seasons in England, 2 Premier League titles he was admired by the biggest clubs in Europe like Atlético Madrid, Ac Milan, Inter Milan, and Juventus despite his awful performances who hope to revive his career. Oscar had a lot of options to choose from but in 2017 when he was only 25 years, he made a shocking Chinese Super League a decision which he honestly explained that he wanted to provide for his family.

‘Every football player, or every person who works, wants to earn money to help their families. I came from a social background in Brazil that is very poor and we didn’t have anything.’ Oscar, 2017.

Oscar grew up in Brazil very poor with no father who died in a car accident when was 3 years. Going to china he put his family ahead of his career. After a difficult start, Oscar is simply the best player in the Chinese league. He helped his team Shanghai SIPG to lift its first Chinese league in 2018. He was the top assist provider in the championship with 16 assists and 12 goals.

Although he has never been called in his national team Brazil since 2016 he wished to play a top-flight level in Europe again after his contracts expire with his Chinese team. Maybe when his contract is done he can fight for his dream to become the next Kaka or the most decorated Brazilian player. Let us wait for destiny.
