Mr. Bharat Thakrar has officially resigned as the Chief Executive Officer of WPP ScanGroup, few months after being suspended by the board over corruption and mismanagement allegations.

Mr. Bharat Thakrar has officially resigned as the Chief Executive Officer of WPP ScanGroup, few months after being suspended by the board over corruption and mismanagement allegations.

“Mr. Thakrar has tendered his resignation as the CEO and board member and the board has accepted. Mr. Thkrar has also resigned as a director of the company’s subsidiaries and affiliates,” said the board in a letter to the public.

The board has now announced plans to recruit a new CEO for the listed company whose share price has been doing well at the NSE. Mr. Alec Graham has now been appointed as the interim CEO.
