David Murathe the Jubilee party Vice-Chairman has come out to reveal the alleged plan to kick out Deputy President William Ruto and why it was temporarily blocked.
This comes after a report that The president had blocked a planned move to remove Ruto from the party by some of President Uhuru’s allies.
Murathe however said the plan that was put on hold by President Uhuru to allow for the mourning of the late Tanzanian President John Pombe Magufuli is still in the works.
Murathe went on to say that there will be a National Management Committee(NMC) meeting where a decision will be made that Ruto will be removed as the party’s deputy.

“We are also waiting for further instructions on when a National Executive Council (NEC) meeting should be held because it is for the council to ratify, modify or reject. NMC has recommended he goes home,” said Murathe.
There was a celebration in DP Ruto’s camp after reports that NMC was expected to rescind its earlier decision to have Ruto kicked out from his position in the Jubilee party.
Barely a day later, Murathe who has in the past issued warnings to Ruto and his allies said that Ruto will still be ejected.
