Understanding The Birth Process Among Expectant Mothers

Birth is a normal physiological process. There are two birth processes that are normally conducted. The virginal birth is referred to as normal birth and Cesarean section known as C-section.

Vaginal birth or the normal birth is the natural birth. An expectant mother gets to labor and delivers through the vagina. The process is the most preferred in which two out of three births are virginal.

Another birth process is the cesarean section, the process may or may not be the choice of the expectant parent. The C-section mostly is conducted in case of complications that require an emergency. When there is a threat to the life of the baby or of the mother, the process is prompted to take place.

Although nowadays many women prefer the c-section delivery process. Without any complications, the majority of young women take cesarean. The women argue it is because of the fear of labor pain. The fear of expansion or tear of the vagina in case the baby is big is what drives many to conduct CS.

The C-section is termed as a time-saving process in which it can only take 45 minutes. Vaginal birth however termed as the best but takes hours. Also one can choose to have a CS which is termed sweet in by when the expectant mother is almost due day of delivery she just walks to pick an appointment on when to deliver.

The expectant mothers although get to risk their lives to undergo C-section but term it as the best for them. Many go through a tough healing process silently. It is harder healing the scar from the CS than healing from a normal birth. A study shows that one who undergoes Cs is limited to the number to a maximum of three babies from the same process.

I think when one does not have any complications that require a CS, women should just give birth naturally. Natural births have more advantages. One who has a normal birth recovers more quickly than a CS patient. The mother also gets the opportunity to start breastfeeding immediately which is advantageous to the baby.

According to traditional beliefs, a real woman is supported to give birth naturally. Being on labor till delivery is what defines being a real woman.
