It was difficult for him to get more time on the pitch because he needed all of his physical capacity; speed, agility, strength.

The problem is that in his absence Liverpool has caught fire. Mane, Firmino, and Salah have conquered Europe. Klopp has no other choice but to play them every game. You would do the same thing in his position. Would You? Sturridge has struggled to make it at the top. 2 starts in the 2019 season. The situation was bad for the Englishman with 5 goals scored in 3 premier league seasons. The fans wanted him out, even the queen wants him out.

Klopp no longer has faith in him, Sturridge personally wanted to stay at Liverpool but the decision isn’t in his hand. His contract finished his contract at the end of the season and left the reds for West Bromwich Albion and later on he played for Turkish side Trabzonspor. A step back or a step forward for him, what do you think? Can he rediscover his form in the national team or it was just a one-season wonder?
