Yamaha’s new FZ series is available in two variants including the FZ 150CC and the FZ 250CC.  Both models incorporate a new style that adopts the “Urban fighter concept” carrying more advanced features and technology giving it a sleek look, perfect for casual and steady city trips as well as the occasional off-road trips. This iconic Yamaha FZ series is geared up to push the riding limits further thanks to the single-channel ABS, 120mm wide rear radial tires, and two-level single-piece seating, and side stand engine cutoff switch. The incorporated Bi-Functional LED Headlight and LED Day Time Running Lamp are perfectly designed to take you through the urban jungle and beyond. The new FI5 model, for instance, is fitted with an air-cooled 4-stroke 149cc SOHC, 2-valve, single-cylinder fuel-injected “BLUE CORE” engine. The engine has been optimized to additionally polish the feeling of superior acceleration from stops and exhilarating feeling when overtaking.

The all-new FZ25, on the other hand, is engineered with an innovative air-cooled, 249 ccs, SOHC, 4 Stroke, 2 valves, high torque fuel “BLUE CORE” engine. It incorporates a single-cylinder sitting on a lightweight body that offers the perfect control a rider would expect. The mileage is also decent. Although it depends on the riding conditions, the FZ 150, for instance, gives you about 45km per liter whereas the FZ25 delivers about 40km per liter.

The FZ series advanced “BLUE CORE” engine is “Fun & Eco”. It allows the FI5 and the FZ25 to high fuel efficiency while delivering the fun-to-ride performance every consumer is after. The intake/exhaust units, as well as the ignition system, have been elegantly engineered for the Kenyan roads. The Monocross Suspension provides excellent shock-absorbing performance with remarkable stability during braking. The rear suspension is a lightweight Monocross suspension unit that contributes to mass centralization and provides a wheel spin that is impeccably tuned for a good balance between the spring rate and damping force
