The nationwide curfew extended for 60 more days.
The Cabinet Secretary for Interior Dr. Fred Matiang’i has extended the nationwide curfew for 60 more days.
Kenyans will still be expected to be back to their houses by 10 pm, and leave by 4 am.
At the same time, public gatherings of any form remain banned. Not sure whether politicians will respect this directive.
Kenyans thought that the curfew would come to an end after being in place for more than one year.
Currently, the dreaded Covid-19 Indian variant is in Kenya with the Ministry of Health saying it has pitched camp in Kisumu City.
But the question remains, what is the significance of the curfew in the fight against Covid-19?
