How to Check Your KUCCPS 2020/2021 Placement Results

The 2020/2021 form four leavers who applied for their various courses through Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) should expect their placement results from 12th July 2021.

Over 144,000 students who qualified for admission to various universities were allowed to select a maximum of four universities and courses during their application process, which includes both the first and the second revision.

The course and the university placement were based on the students’ mean grade and the cut-off points of the different courses provided.

The application for 2020/2021 which was closed on July 5th Monday 2021 is now highly anticipated by both the parents and the students.

For those looking to check their admission results using the KUCCPS online portal, the steps are as follows:

  • Visit https://students.kuccps.net/
  • Login with your details as follows;
    • User Name (Full Index Number)
    • Year (2020)
    • Password (use your birth certificate number or KCPE index number)
  • After successfully logging in, you will receive a message of congratulations followed by the university you have been placed as well as the chosen course.

The admission letter can also be downloaded from the same website.

HELB Application

One can also start the process of applying for the student HELB loan if so they desire. The HELB Portal is open for July 2021 applications.

The requirements for HELB application include;

  1. National ID
  2. Parents National ID
  3. Kenya Revenue Authority Pin (KRA Pin)
  4. Bank Account Number
  5. Student Registration Number

Changing Institutions

Changing the institution one has been placed into requires them to visit the school and collect a deferment letter, which will secure their chance of joining another institution at their own convenient time.
