You Can Now Check M-Pesa Balance, Airtime Via WhatsApp

Safaricom Zuri now allows one to confirm their Airtime balance and M-PESA via WhatsApp.

Safaricom customers can now be able to check their Airtime balance as well as M-Pesa via WhatsApp.

Safaricom is currently sending customers messages informing them of the new feature which is set to excite the market.

The link provided takes one direct to WhatsApp where one meets with “Safaricom Zuri” that replies with 2 seconds.

To be verified, one will first have to enter the M-Pesa Pin before the request is completed. It is not clear whether Safaricom will go the Absa Bank Kenya way of where people can transact using WhatsApp.

Many corporates are embracing WhatsApp because it is one of the platforms that people spend time the most.
