ACK Bishop Charged With Sexual Assault

Joel Waweru, a Bishop devoted to the Anglican Church of Kenya was on Tuesday, January 11th charged with sexual assault after trying to forcefully touch and kiss a woman without her consent.
He appeared before Senior Principal Magistrate Derrick Kuto in Kibera Law courts where he was charged with the two sexual counts in regards to the sexual assaults but he denied the charges.
The Bishop has told me severally that he likes me because am attractive and Beautiful said the Woman. She further added that the Bishop became obsessed with her and she was becoming insecure because she is married that’s why she reported the matter to the Police.
The Bishop pleaded not guilty after appearing before the court and pleaded for lenient Bond terms where he was released on 50,000 cash bail.
“He will be released on a 50,000 shillings cash bail and the matter will be brought here after a fortnight,” Derrick Kuto ruled.
