The branch will enable new customers to check and verify that the decoder they are about to purchase is in good shape as well as help the regular customers whose decoders might have problems or breakdowns.

Multichoice Kenya officially opened a new branch at Capital Center Mall in Nairobi bringing the physical touchpoint in the capital to four. The Capital Center branch will serve both DStv and GOtv customers.

The opening of the branch is a strategic move to ensure customers can easily access service points across the county. It will be open during the weekdays from 8 am – 9 pm and at weekends from 9 am – 9 pm.

Capital Centre branch will offer a full range of services including:

  1. Payment of subscriptions

Now that you’re a DStv subscriber, there are various payments that you’ll need to make. The DStv service is a prepaid service for a full month – when you pay your subscription, the contract for that month is fixed. You can visit the Capital Center Mall to pay for your full monthly subscription anytime.

  1. Package upgrades and downgrades

When you upgrade, you need to pay the difference between your current package and the upgraded package for the time left until your next payment date.

You can downgrade once a month on the day your subscription payment is due. You can log onto Self Service and request a schedule for your downgrade. Better still, this service can be easily accessed at the new Multichoice Branch, Capital center Mall.

  1. Decoder diagnostics and purchases

The branch will enable new customers to check and verify that the decoder they are about to purchase is in good shape as well as help the regular customers whose decoders might have problems or breakdowns.

  1. Customer care support

Just like any other branch countrywide, the branch will offer all the customer services. Any queries or technicalities in handling your decoder, making subscriptions, and upgrading or downgrading.

  1. Software upgrades

Software Upgrade means any software change to the software utilized in an existing server or computer to improve its stability and remove outdated features. Your decoder must run on the latest software version for optimal performance and security.

  1. Repair or replacement of faulty decoders

Do you have a faulty DStv decoder? Maybe you are wondering if you can repair it. Well, Multichoice Africa has a solution for any of its customers whenever they have challenges, so they have put things in place to assist everyone with their decoder problems in the branches country-wide, including the recent one at capital Center Mall.

  1. Consumer Education (self-help service techniques),

Consumer education is the preparation of an individual to be capable of making informed decisions when it comes to purchasing products in a consumer culture.

It generally covers various consumer goods and services, prices, what the consumer can expect, standard trade practices, etc.

In this case, the consumer will be educated about the different packages available and how they can purchase them, the prices and how they can be operated, etc.

  1. Installation services and purchase of accessories

Installers will be provided at the branch to assist customers by installing decoders and all other necessary hardware.

The opening of the Capital Centre branch is a relocation of T-Mall branch which will no longer be operational. Customers can however still access a full range of services at JUWAM Service Centre located on the ground floor of T-Mall or through our digital platforms *423# or on the MyDStv and MyGOtv apps.
