WWE Weekly Program Preview, 9-15 February 2022

Fans of the WWE can gear up for another thrilling week of action on SuperSport, with live airings of the NXT, SmackDown, and Raw shows running from Wednesday 9 to Tuesday 15 February 2022.

The action begins on the morning of Wednesday 9 February with WWE NXT Episode 655. Tony D’Angelo is fired up after his recent battle with Cameron Grimes and has promised that he will continue to make an impact on the developmental brand.

“Hey, I’m walking here!” he exclaimed. “That Cameron Grimes, that scum bag who thinks he’s worthy of a shot at the North American title… forget about it! Mom’s spaghetti and a pizza, I’ll have him swimming with the fish in no time. That’s a promise from your pal, Tony D’Angelo. It’s for the kids.”

Saturday 12 February brings Episode 1173 of WWE SmackDown. The arrival of Xia Lee on WWE has proven a major help to newcomer Aliyah, with ‘The Protector’ holding her own in a showdown with the legendary Natalya. Now Aliyah is hoping to return the favor.

“Xia Lee came to my rescue, she really saved me from a bad situation,” explained Aliyah. “I couldn’t be more grateful. And that’s why we are going to team up and have each other’s backs… I owe her one, and this is the best way to repay my debt and also make a friend along the way.”

Tuesday 15 February will feature Episode 1499 of WWE Raw. Rhea Ripley and Nikki A.S.H.’s partnership as tag-team partners has come to a sudden end, leaving ‘The Nightmare’ looking for revenge against her former friend.

“We used to be friends. We used to be tag-team partners,” said Ripley. “I thought we would win belts together, establish a legacy… but she threw it all away because of her own insecurity. I’m gonna let her know the real reason she can’t sleep at night: it’s because I’m coming for her.”
