A Kilo Of Onions Retailing Highest In Nairobi At 100.32 Shillings

A 10kg pack of onion, for example, increased by 2.298 percent and is now trading at 1200 shillings at Marikiti market in Nairobi, while 1,003 .2 shillings in Kisumu.

In Bungoma and Nakuru counties, a 1okg of onion sells at 933.3 shillings with one kilogram going for 93.33 shillings.

Meanwhile, tomatoes are trading lowest in Nakuru, with a kilo going for 80 shillings in Molo and highest in Kitale, where a kilo is selling at 140 shillings.

The exact amount of tomatoes is trading at 110.31 shillings in Nairobi and Kisumu.

One head of lettuce is trading the lowest in Eldoret at 30 shillings and highest in Molo Nakuru at 200 shillings per head.

The same commodity sells 69.74 shillings in Kisumu and Nairobi while 50 shilling in Kericho.

Local ginger is selling at 37 shillings per 100 grams in Nairobi.
