Aminia Dada To Boost Women In ICT

In April, a new kid was born; Aminia Dada Innovation, an initiative that is aimed at supporting women in STEM and ICT. Founded by Damaris Mabeya, the initiative comes at a time the world is shifting towards technology with those not on board risking being left out.

“We are living in a tech world. We are either in or out. The only way to survive is to be in and it is on this premise that Aminia Dada was launched,” said Mabeya.

Aminia Dada Innovations is an initiative that is supporting women in STEM and ICT founded by Damaris Mabeya.
Aminia Dada Innovations was launched on 28th April 2022 which is the International Girls in ICT Day at The Boma Hotel by Hon. Wavinya Ndeti was the main speaker. Boniface Mwangi founder PAWA254 and Nerima Wako Founder of Siasa Place.

Mabeya had substantive researchers, advocacy strategists, and policy practitioners in the technical development of Aminia Dada Innovations.


The International Girls in ICT Day, The theme this year is Access and Safety. Then Aminia Dada Innovations segments it as part of bridging the digital gender divide for tech as an economic empowerment tool for grading our economic matrices.

“Being a woman in tech means building a strong network of supporters. Her team is diverse, with men and women of all colors and backgrounds and all interests. She and her teammates make mistakes together and learn from each other through collaboration,” she added.
