Average Exchange Rates for Major Currencies

The Central Bank of Kenya issued customers’ foreign exchange rates for 22^nd August 2022. The exchange rate is based on the weighted average rates of commercial banks.

The data is the estimate quoted by various commercial banks to their clients and is compiled and disseminated for information only.

The banks provide their indicative exchange rates for commercial transactions with customers.

The table below shows the commercial banks’ average exchange rates for major currencies/KES (closing of the market) on 22-aug-22.
