Form 34As Were First Sent To UDA Before IEBC – John Githongo

Azimio Presidential Candidate Raila Amollo Odinga filed a case at the Supreme Court challenging the announcement of Kenya Kwanza Presidential Candidate William Samoei Ruto as the President of Kenya by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission.

A more damning affidavit has also been deposited at the Supreme Court by Journalist and Anti-corruption Crusader John Githongo claiming that Form 34As, which were crucial for the announcement of the results were first sent to the UDA tallying center, and manipulated before being uploaded into the IEBC portal.

Form 34As are those forms that came directly from the polling stations. They were in the line with the Maina Kiai ruling that stated that the votes counted at the polling station were final. This means the Supreme Court will have to order a recount of the original Form 34As.

In another twist, the Senator-elect for Busia Count Okiya Omtatah has filed a petition in the same Supreme Court claiming that none of the Presidential candidates got 50% plus 1 vote.
