Illya Frank to replace Mumbi Maina as Zara on SALEM

Mumbi Maina, best known for her role as Zara on the hit telenovela- Salem will be replaced by Ilya Frank effective 15 August 2022.

Illya Frank is no stranger to the Kenyan television and entertainment space. She first hit the small screens in her debut performance on Reality Show- Nairobi Diaries and later played a key role in a comedy series entitled Disconnect as Belinda and on Maza TV as Keisy Brown. Her latest role has been in the epic telenovela, Kovu where she plays the character Tasha which aired on Maisha Magic Plus and is now broadcast on the sister channel, Maisha Magic East.
