A 200Kg Crate Of Tomatoes Retailing At 9,500 In Nairobi

At the same time, the price of a kilogram of red Tanzanian onions in Nairobi has reduced from an average of between 100 -200 shillings to between 55-90 shillings. A single onion retails between 10 and 15 shillings apart from small ones which are 5 shillings. The Kenyan type is retailing at 45 shillings.

A 13 kg net of dry Kenyan onions retailing at 850 shillings while the 10Kg bag is 700 shillings.

One sack of pili pili hoho is selling for 4,500 shillings while one piece is selling at 15 – 20 shillings up from 10 shillings a month ago.
