Eaton Welcomes Tripp Lite Partners In Eastern Africa family, Post-acquisition And Boosts Power Infrastructure Offering In The Market

Power management company Eaton has begun integrating Tripp Lite partners in Eastern Africa to the larger family & increase consumer access to a vastly expanded product portfolio, with further developed capabilities to support distributed IT and edge applications.

Tripp Lite brand is no stranger in East Africa and post-acquisition by Eaton, the combined and enhanced product range, represents a huge opportunity for managed service providers and resellers that will either help them break into the market for power infrastructure, connectivity, and peripherals or expand the size and comprehensiveness of their proposals by incorporating ‘Tripp Lite by Eaton’ server racks, enclosures, and connectivity accessories besides UPSs.

The Tripp Lite product portfolio offers a broad-based ability to support edge applications and distributed networks for end-user vertical markets, and data centers of all sizes as well as opening up the opportunity for the growing e-commerce business. Consumers in Eastern Africa can now access server racks, enclosures, cables, and connectivity products such as docking stations, KVM switches, and a selection of other peripherals and accessories over and above the widest range of industry-leading UPSs.

The Tripp Lite brand became 100 years old in 2022, dating back to when Tripp Lite manufactured headlights for the nascent automobile industry. The Tripp Lite name will be retained when the new ranges are fully rebranded as the Eaton – Tripp Lite Series.
