Total equity turnover dropped by 30.71 percent to close at USD 2.98 million (389.86 million) compared to yesterday’s turnover of USD 4.30 million (562.66 million shillings).
NSE 20 and NASI rose by 1.14 percent and 0.05 percent to close at 1,558.87 and 110.91 respectively.

Exchange Rate Performance
The Kenyan shilling weakened by 0.29 percent against the US Dollar to close at 130.99 (-6.18 percent year-to-date). Against the Pound, the shilling weakened by 0.55 percent to close at 160.78 (-8.29 percent year-to-date). The shilling weakened by 0.43 percent against the Euro to close at 141.33.
