Kenyans Urged To Adopt Climate-Friendly Air-Conditioners
LG Electronics has reiterated its commitment to launching innovative air conditioning and refrigeration products that enhance energy efficiency, reduce carbon footprint, and improve overall performance for customers.
Speaking at the ongoing 2nd International Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Mega Clima exhibition in Nairobi that ends on April 1st, LG Electronics East Africa Managing Director Dong Won Lee stated that this commitment is geared towards meeting the growing consumer needs, particularly amidst the ongoing climate change challenges.
At the event, LG Electronics is showcasing a range of cutting-edge products, including the Dual Cool Inverter Wall split ACs for residential use, and Smart Inverter, Cassette Concealed Duct Ceiling Suspended (Single/Multi-Split), also VRF Multi V system for both smaller and bigger applications with various option of Indoor units including Round Cassettes, Control Solutions, and LG Ceiling Fan.
LG’s air conditioning solutions are designed to provide optimal cooling performance with minimal energy consumption, and smart control including cloud-based control and monitoring. LG’s exclusive ThinQ App comes with advanced features such as voice commands, energy-saving modes, and AI functions.
Notable products on display include the LG VRF Multi V systems, which incorporate the latest technology to provide maximum efficiency, powerful performance, and low operational costs for residential and industrial facilities. Other products include the LG Residential and Commercial Split Air Conditioner, LG ceiling fans, and refrigerators equipped with Smart Inverter Compressors and Multi Air Flow features.

In response to the increasing demand for climate-friendly products, LG has recently launched a range of optimized HVAC solutions that provide fresh and healthy air for different environments. These include new indoor air quality solutions that monitor IAQ(Indoor Air Quality) and purify it through various certified advanced air purification systems such as UV NanoTM technology.
The Mega Clima expo is being held for the second time, featuring exhibits from eight countries, attracting 95 exhibitors and over 3000 visitors. The event provides a platform for engineers, contractors, and HVAC+R industry professionals to network and collaborate with Kenyan and global HVAC+R sector players.
