As reported by GLOBOCAN, the annual incidence of cancer was reported as 47,887 cases in 2018, with a mortality of 32,987, whilst the incidence of cancer reported in 2020 was 42,116 with a mortality of 27,092.

Scientists in Japan have created a hydrogel that reverts cancer cells to stem cells within 24 hours in what might be one of the greatest breakthroughs in the war against cancer.

The process was carried out on six different human cancer types and all of them were successful with cancer being eliminated within 24 hours.
