Kithure Kindiki Directs The Police To Arrest Raila Odinga

"The government has... mobilized all the law agencies of the State and institutions of our country's criminal justice system to conclude investigations urgently and proceed to arrest and prosecute all those involved in planning and execution of the crimes committed today."

Interior Cabinet Secretary has called for the immediate arrest of the individuals involved in the planning and execution of the nationwide demonstration, including Azimio leader Raila Odinga that rocked at least 21 areas in the country on Wednesday.

“The government has… mobilized all the law agencies of the State and institutions of our country’s criminal justice system to conclude investigations urgently and proceed to arrest and prosecute all those involved in planning and execution of the crimes committed today,” said Kindiki.

Professor Kindiki went ahead to point out Azimio leader Raila Odinga as the master planner of what unfolded on Wednesday. He said that “Mr. Raila Odinga’s association with violent politics in Kenya is now legendary” calling for his immediate arrest.

The Maandamano happening in Kenya on Wednesday, July 12, seems to be larger, more spontaneous, and widely spread than any other that has ever happened in Kenya.  Led by Raila Odinga, Kenyans seem to be sending a clear message to President William Ruto.
